Well, it's been awhile since I last posted and I figured I should update everyone - 2 people on what's been going on. So here goes!
Andrew and I went down to Columbus for a few days in early June. We attended the Ohio High School Boy's Baseball tournament games. It was a lot of baseball, rain, sun, amazing food, and fun. We were also able to spend a few evenings with my Aunt and Uncle who live in Columbus and I am very thankful for Andrew in making that possible.
We also have gone on a few "camping" trips to the camper my family has in Andover, Ohio. Both times we have been tested on many levels due to being so busy out there and never enough time to relax with each other. In the end I believe it has made us stronger and we both realize where we need to be and what needs done. Andrew is very helpful and is never "afraid" to lend a helping hand even if he doesn't know what he is doing. I admit that I am very independent so it has taken me some time to let someone else in to help.
Cedar Point was one Saturday as well. I have never had so much fun with a group at an amusement park. I went as Andrew's guest for his company picnic. I did ride the coasters (some - left a few out lol) and I was happy to see others weren't afraid to sit out on those same coasters for the exact same reasons. I was never made to feel guilty or bad that I wasn't riding the few that I wasn't going on. It was very nice to have people in same mindset as my own for a change. lol I had a blast and was excited that Andrew invited me.
On July 10 we celebrated out 6 month anniversary. Some may say that it's corny, but we don't care. It was a lot of fun and exciting to hit this "milestone" together. We went to Steak on a Stone in Copley and then returned to his parents house to change and headed to the Shreve Homecoming. We met up with one of Andrew's best friends; Kory and his girlfriend, Brittney. Andrew's hometown feels a lot like my hometown in the sense we couldn't go a step without running into someone he knew. lol Gotta love it - and I DO!
Over all things are great with Andrew and I. We have been spending some time together and I can't imagine not spending time with him. I look forward to being able to see him, even if it is for a few hours and we are just talking on the couch watching one of our favorite t.v. shows.
Work is going well too. As much as I need a change, I realize it is a job for the time being and the hours and money is there. I haven't given up the search yet, even though some days it seems as if I need too. I am honestly thankful to have such a "rock" in my life, who can make me smile, calm my nerves, and set me straight. :-)
